*Halloween*

I took the kids to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago to pick out the perfect pumpkin and also to play a little (pictures to come on that adventure!)
Then we got to carve them at home. The kids love to carve and draw their own faces :) This year Devin actually drew his own "guy" on his. It turned out amazing!

Here they are showing off the finished product. We had just gotten home from church and they plopped down on the porch to look at them....and so my mom ran and got the camera
Remember to look at the pumpkin next to Devin...that's his guy he drew! Awesome job Dev!
Of course, we had to do a family picture while we had the chance!

Devin got to celebrate at school as well. He had lots of fun games, treats and the famous costume parade. Blake and Ashlyn had fun watching all of the kids dressed up

I love this smile! He was wrapped up like a mummy. I had to laugh though, because he got paired up with this girl behind him. And anyone that knows Devin, knows how shy he is. So this girl starts wrapping him up in toilet paper and he seriously was looking at me like...you have got to save me! I just kept smiling :) I will remind him of those moments oh like when he is 16!
Here they are all in costume- Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and the S.W.A.T. guy! This is one of my favorite holidays! Maybe it was because when I was little my mom would make the most amazing costumes for us! It is just such a fun time to see the kids use their imagination and have fun.
Here we are ready to go trunk or treating~ I was so disappointed because the night I got to take the kids out it poured! Seriously poured! We made the best of it though and went and rented a movie and got into our pj's and cuddled!
I hope that my kids will have those same great memories of times like this....aside from the sugar excitement! They just grow up so fast!
